Our site has only just gone live and we are still getting to grips with the confluence software. Experienced confluence users and members who have found out how to do cool things with their personal space are encouraged to update this page.
How to:
Put your e mail link on your personal space: That one is easy, write " email me" on the page, select the text and then the link button. Select external link and type in [mailto:myemailaddress@myemailaddress.com
]
Upload a photo to your personal space: whilst editing the page - add the gallery macro followed by the title of the gallery, then save the page.
Then go to your personal space and select Edit and then Attachments from the Nav bar. Upload the photos and next time you go to your personal space there will be a gallery of your photos.
Add an image that represents your profile/personal space:
On the Nav Bar select "View>account>preferences"
select the tab "edit profile"
select the link to "profile picture"
Then either upload a picture or select a default image
Add a widget on your home page:

List your favourites on your home page:
There are a number of macros that you can put into your home space and it will list your favourite users, pages and spaces. They are
- my-favourites - if this text is embeded within a set of curly brackets "{" then it will display any favourite on your personal space
- my-favourite-spaces - if this text is embeded within a set of curly brackets "{" then your favourite spaces will be listed on your personal space
- my-favourites-people - if this text is embeded within a set of curly brackets "{" then your favourite people will be listed on your personal space
- my-favourites-pages - if this text is embeded within a set of curly brackets "
{" then your favourite people will be listed on your personal space
